Sad news, Les Reeve has died recently. Les was an active member of LTVW having served on the Committee for many years as PRO. He also ran for a number of years a photographic competition for LTVW members and we spent many an entertaining evening when he would assess the photographs submitted and give us a masterclass on how to take a good photograph. For those that knew him, the funeral is at All Hallows church , Church Street Whitchurch,Hants RG28 7AS, at 14.00 Thursday, 12th August. Burial followed by a wake in the local area.

The Chairman and committee would like to thank all stewards who have stewarded meets this year in what have been difficult circumstances. We couldn't do our rallies if it wasn't for stewards. Which brings me on to the 2022 programme. We now have a full programme in place and will be circulating to members in near future to see if anyone would like to run a meet. We hope things will have to returned to normal in 2022 and we may be able to hold more social gatherings at our rallies. Without a steward we cannot hold a rally.

For the foreseeable future, Rallies and THS’s must be booked in advance with the stewards and you must ensure that you have a pitch prior to your travelling to the rally. The rally will be run as a campsite and not a social gathering. No group activities e.g. coffee morning will take place. Any social interaction must conform to the Government guidance regarding numbers (e.g. rule of 6) and no gatherings in awnings or caravans. It’s all about fresh air and 2 meters apart. For more information on how sites will be run, please refer to Green Paper 3.16 Covid 19 Onsite operational procedures which can be found in the Members Area of the Camping and Caravanning Club website.

AGM will now be held virtually. To take part you will need to have completed your membership card (included in the BCC yearbook) and returned to the Secretary. Please indicate that you wish to take part.

The Henley rally planned for 29th April to 4th May has been cancelled.
